Day 16 Sahagun to Reliegos

I would probably say worst day so far today...  i had a really good sleep and did manage to stay in bed till 7.35. it was too good to be true. no pain in the morning and after a nice breakfast i left Sahagun around 9. the first 10 km just flew away. it was great but than i started to feel this little pain in my feet at the same place as yesterday. i stoped after 8 km only to notice that it was a blister that caused my pain. my first blister. also probably at the worst place possible. i started to talk to this Dutch couple and they suggested that i take it out straight away. so i did. than i still had 13 km on meseta and the problem was that actually there was no stop between. no shade. no water. how could i summarize? tears, sweat, bad words, desperation. i thought i never make it here. i didnt know how much water i had left and i was so worried as it was like 31 outside. plus i got burned badly even though i had sun cream ( factor 50) on. but my left arm has so many colors now that they could write a book on it " Fifty shades of red" :-) in tge end i actually had to cover it up with my other top. i also need to find a solution to cover my ears as they are in bad shape  not to mention my left hand. i do look like a 60 years old women. omg. i keep wonderig how did they do this 900 years ago? even 100 years ago without blister tapes, water containers, expansive hiking boots? anyway the good news was that i saw my first pilgrim with a donkey :-) i thought i wont see any but according the camino rules you can either complete the journey on foot, cycle or on a donkey. well i had seen a thousand pilgrim on foot, loads on bike but havent seen anyone with donkey :-D  im am staying in tonight. took a nice shower and straight after i finish my fish im off to bed. i am knackered. tomorrow 26 to Leon which i think is the last major city on the Camino. i will see how my feet is if its not better i might see a doctor as i heared horror stories on blisters but hopefully i wont have to. today i started to read the little notes my girfriends wrote me to motiave me :-) i read 4 and they were all so cute and accurate. ♡♡♡
